Survivor of addiction, who feels that his story can help others. “When I put the needle down I picked my guitar back up, I have a new addiction, Bluegrass, Old-Time, and Traditional music.” “ I feel like the music is calling me, it’s in my blood.” I'm influenced by all the great pickers of the past and all the new up-and-coming pickers. I studied with 2017 Winfield flatpicking champion Andy Hatfield, to get my right hand flowing properly. Since then I've been learning the bluegrass catalog of staples. I'm on a quest to pick with the best. I'm heavily influenced by Tony Rice, Norman Blake and Billy Strings. I feel music is my destiny, I'm still alive and have a story to tell.
