"Broken Chords" is a soft indie-folk song that focuses on the imperfections we all live with and making something wonderful out of it.

I started writing the song by focusing on the guitar solo intro and then simply singing what I was feeling, which at the time was the frustration of feeling that none of my songs were good enough. This turned into a song about taking what broken things we have and making the best out of it as we work and hope for a better world.

I very much wanted the recording it to feel like me and a guitar, and that’s exactly how it turned out!
